Helen Louise Higgins Anderson 1945-2011 Obituary
Helen Louise Higgins Anderson, age 66 years of Wellsburg, WV departed this life November 16, 2011 at her home. She was born April 19, 1945 in Philippi, WV to the late Ernest and Mytle Taylor Higgins. She worked at Bethany College in Alladin and also Chartwells food service and was a Protestant by faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded by her husband, Ira Anderson whom passed in 2002, one son, Gregory, two brothers John and Henry Higgins, and two infant brothers. She is survived by her son David Anderson and his wife Rebekah of Elkins, WV, two daughters Shirley Francis of Wellsburg, WV, Kimberly MacFarland and her husband Darin of Wellsburg, WV, five brothers, James, Donald, and Michael Higgins all of Elkins, WV, Ronald Higgins, of Wellsburg, WV, Jack Higgins of Wheeling, WV, two sisters Lona Everett of Belington, WV and Patty Everson of Virginia, eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday November 18, from 2-4 & 6-8pm at Reasner Funeral Home 1515 Charles St. Wellsburg, where services will be held, Saturday at 11:00am. Visitation will also be held at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Elkins on Sunday from 5-8pm. Final Rites will be conducted at the funeral home chapel, Monday, November 21, 2011 at 11:30am. The Rev. Kevin Gainer will officiate and interment will follow at the Barbour Memorial Cemetery at Barbour County, WV.
