Hoy Junior Wilfong of French Creek, WV, Died October 12, 2010. Junior was born September 11, 1945. He was the Son of Hoy and Wilda (Gillum) Wilfong. Junior is survived by two children, Christine Wilfong of Buckhannon and Joyce (John) Bowers of Parsons, a brother, Charles Wilfong, of Holly Grove, five sisters, Josephine Smith of French Creek, Jean Corbin of Naples FL., Loverna (Benny) Campbell of Stonewood, Linda Wilfong of Chidester, AR and Madeline Barrett and husband James of Mauk, GA and four grandchildren, Katelynn Bowers of Parsons, Anna, Marzell, & Derrick Collins of Buckhannon, WV. and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, and siblings, Irene Wilfong, Maxine Wilfong, James Wilfong, Marie Murphy, Arnetta Chance,& Annetta Powers. Junior retired from Corhart Refractory as a press operator in 2009. He served in the US Army from 1965 to 1971. There will be no memorial service and Junior will be laid to rest privately and quietly among family.
