Irene Mione Pritt, 60, a resident of the Berlin community near Weston, died Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2002, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
She was born Dec. 29, 1941, in Pittsburgh, Pa., the daughter of Causbie Campbell Messenger of Centre Hall, Pa., and the late William Pritt.
Surviving are five children, Bonnie Gifford, Buckhannon, Daniel Pritt, Pittsburgh, Pa., Debra Pritt, William Pritt Jr. and Cindi Pritt, all of Cleveland, Ohio; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Kenneth Messenger, Centre Hall, Pa., and Richard Messenger of Pittsburgh, Pa.
She was a homemaker, a member of the Faith Tabernacle Church of Buckhannon and attended the New Life Southern Baptist Church in Weston.
Friends will be received from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the Tomblyn-whitescarver Funeral Chapel where funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday. Pastor Robert Perrine will officiate and interment will follow in the Peterson Cemetery in Weston.
