Jaylin Nicole Dean 2005-2015 Obituary
Jaylin Nicole Dean, 10, a resident of Huttonsville, passed from this life Wednesday, June 17, 2015. Jaylin was born Monday, May 30, 2005 in Elkins, a daughter of JC Dean and Elizabeth Walther Dean who survive in Huttonsville.
Also left to cherish her memory are one brother, Jace Michael Dean, one sister, Kenley Brayla Dean, paternal grandparents, Michael Lee and Pamela Jean Dean of Huttonsville, maternal grandparents, Kenny Franklin and Wilma Lee Walther of Valley Bend, one uncle, Josh Walther and companion Sierra Cool of Valley Bend, two aunts, Rachel and Lisa Dean, both of Charleston and two cousins, Gracie and Shyanne. Jaylin attended school at George Ward Elementary in Mill Creek and completed fourth grade.
She was the recipient of several Character Counts Awards, including, Caring, Leadership, Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility and Fairness. Jaylin liked sports. She played basketball and one day hoped to go pro. She also loved to cheer on the Denver Broncos with her Daddy.
Jaylin enjoyed attending the Bass fishing tournaments with Papaw Walther, camping with Mamaw and Papaw Dean and going to the movies with Mamaw Walther. She enjoyed school, attending church, singing and playing the Xbox game “The Voice” with her brother Jace.
Jaylin loved spending time with her family and always made sure to divide her time evenly between both sets of grandparents.
She looked forward to when Mommy scheduled vacations at the cabins in Dollywood. Jaylin enjoyed attending Huttonsville Presbyterian Church. She loved the Lord and always reminded the family to say grace before they ate. Jaylin always said, “If you don’t have family, you don’t have nothin!”
A visitation will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home Monday, June 22, 2015 from 11:00A-1:00P, the funeral hour.
Pastor Frank Stanley will officiate and interment will follow in the Brick Church Cemetery in Huttonsville.
