Jennifer Jenni Ann Shiflett Currence 1973-2014 Obituary
Jennifer “Jenni” Ann Shiflett Currence, 40, a resident of Mill Creek, passed from this life Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
She had been in her usual health and death was unexpected.
Jennifer was born Friday, October 26, 1973 in Waynesboro, VA, a daughter of of the late Rick Shiflett and Patricia Ann Mouse Shiflett who survives in Mill Creek.
On June 3, 1995, in Huttonsville, she married Reuben Eddie Currence who survives in Mill Creek.
Also left to cherish her memory are two children, Evan and Zach Currence of Mill Creek, two brothers, Marc Shiflett and wife Christa of Valley Bend and Adam Shiflett and wife Lisa of Belington, nieces and nephews, Heather and Ben Cade and Brennan, Tyler and Magnolia Shiflett, father and mother in law, Reuben L. and Marvella Currence of Huttonsville and sister in law, Marquetta Cade of Valley Bend.
Jenni attended the schools of Randolph County and was a graduate of Tygart Valley High School.
She loved to crochet and enjoyed photography. Jenni was always behind the camera and rarely in front.
She is best known for her countless hours of volunteering for Tygart Valley Athletics. Jenni was a Baptist by faith and was a member of Tygart Valley Baptist Church.
A visitation will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home Sunday, July 6, 2014 from Noon-2P, the funeral hour.
Jenni’s request for cremation will then be honored. Pastor Jack Howell will officiate.
