Jerry Darrell Nelson 1945-2015 Obituary
Jerry Darrell Nelson, 69, a resident of Elkins, passed from this life to be with the Lord Thursday, September 3, 2015 at home surrounded by family.
Jerry was born Friday, September 14, 1945 in Elkins, a son of the late Samuel Nelson and Pearl Bright Nelson.
Left to cherish his memory are three siblings, Janet Hinzman and husband George, Roger Nelson and wife Sandy and Carolyn Cook and husband Larry, all of Elkins and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding Jerry in death besides his parents were three siblings, Donald Neil and Robert “Bob” Nelson and Wanda Madden.
Jerry attended the schools of Randolph County and had been employed in several positions at Davis Medical Center for over thirty years.
He enjoyed walking and trips to the beach. Jerry loved his job and his dog Missy. Jerry’s request for cremation was honored.
