Jerry R. Teter Jr., 35, a resident of Bruceton Mills, passed away at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 30, 2002, in Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown. His death was a result of complications from heart surgery.
He was born Dec. 25, 1966, in Elkins, a son of Jerry R. Teter, formerly of Onego and Patricia Cooper Teter, formerly of Elkins, who survives at Bruceton Mills.
Also surviving are his paternal grandmother, Ella Teter of Elkins; his maternal grandmother, Gelda Cooper of Lake Helen, Fla.; his fiance, Cari Snider; his daughter, Marissa; and several aunts and uncles.
He received his bachelor of science degree in accounting from West Virginia University and was currently employed by Horizon Realty of Bruceton Mills. He also enjoyed farming.
Friends may call from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. today at Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Greg Moran officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. State Memorial Gardens near Elkins.
