Jerry Reynolds Teter 1938-2021 Obituary
Jerry Reynolds Teter, 82, a resident of Bruceton Mills, passed from this life Saturday, August 21, 2021, surrounded by his wife and sister-in-law.
Jerry was born Saturday December 24, 1938, in Teterton, a son of the late Zola and Ella Long Teter. He was also preceded in death by one son, Jerry Reynolds Teter, Jr on September 30, 2002, four brothers, Bruce, Kenneth, Donnie, and Hansel, and one sister, Velma Crites.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 57 years, Patricia G. Cooper Teter. He is also survived by his sisters in law Alice Vandevender and husband Roger of Kerens, and Norma Jean Teter, brother Ward Teter of Seneca Rocks, sister Louann Smith of Edgewater, Florida, and several nieces and nephews.
Jerry was a graduate of West Virginia University and had retired from the United States Department of Agriculture. After retirement, he devoted his life to farming.
The family’s request will be honored.
A memorial service will be held at Randolph Funeral Home on Monday August 30, 2021 from 11am until 1pm, the funeral hour. The Rev. Kevin Hostetler will officiate. An inurnment will then take place at Mountain State Memorial Gardens in Elkins.
