Jesse D. Kelley, 89, of 211 Wood St., Buckhannon, died Sunday, March 10, 2002, in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
Mr. Kelley was born Feb. 26, 1913, in Hampton, a son of late Daniel H. and Emma Belle Hoover Kelley.
He married Dorothy L. Smith Kelley, who survives.
Also surviving are one son, Donald Kelley, Buckhannon; two daughters, Debra Smith, Weston, and Brenda Louk, Buckhannon; one brother, Troy Kelley, Buckhannon; one sister, Zuma Halstead, Buckhannon; and one grandson, Johnathon Smith, Rimersburg, Pa.
He was preceded in death by one brother, James Kelley.
Mr. Kelley was a sanitation worker for the city of Buckhannon. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Friends will be received at Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home today from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be in the funeral home chapel Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. J. Edward McDaniels officiating. Interment will follow in Hampton Church Cemetery in Hampton. The Buckhannon VFW Post 3663 and Frank B. Bartlett Post 7, American Legion will conduct military honors at the graveside.
