JoAnne Talbert, age 78 years, a resident of Elkins, passed away Monday evening, November 26, 2012 in the Davis Memorial Hospital. She was born October 1, 1934 at Webster Springs, WV a daughter of the late Ira and Maysel Young Stidom. She was married to Arch William Talbert who preceded her in death on November 11, 2012. Surviving are two sons, Darren Talbert, Baltimore, MD and Kirk Talbert of Hampstead, NC. One brother, David Stidom of Latham, NY and two grandchildren also survive. Mrs. Talbert was a graduate of Webster High School with the Class of 1952 and attended West Virginia Tech for two years. She was a Homemaker. At the request of the deceased, her remains will be cremated. Interment of the cremains will take place at a later date in the Miller Cemetery in Webster County. The Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins is in charge of the arrangements for JoAnne Talbert.
