John Allen Lindsay Jr., 28, a resident of Beverly, passed from this life in the early morning hours of Sunday, August 4, 2013. He had been in his usual health and death was sudden and unexpected. He was born Thursday, June 6, 1985 in Elkins, a son of John Allen Lindsay Sr. and Margaret Lou Rutherford Lindsay. John married the former Michelle Opal May Howell who survives in Beverly. Also left to cherish John’s memory are two daughters: Lily Marie Howell and Madison Rayne Lindsay, one sister: Heather Marie Kerr and husband Brandon of Durbin, one half brother: Samuel Ward Rutherford and wife Sue of Sutton, two nephews: Payden Kerr and Tyler Singleton, and four nieces: Nadiya Ilisabeth Kerr, Rayna Lynn Kerr, Gabriella Jarrell and Ashley Facemire. John attended the schools of Randolph County and graduated from Tygarts Valley High School. He worked as a machine operator for Bruce Hardwood. He really enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and all outdoor activities. John loved spending time with family and especially his two daughters, Lily and Madison. The family’s request for cremation has been honored. A memorial service will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home Friday, August 9, 2013 from 4P to 6P the funeral hour. The Reverend Marshall Williams will officiate.
