John Charles Cool, 54, passed away on June 2, 2010 at his home in Valley Head. He was born on Saturday, November 19, 1955 at Elkins, a son of the late William H. “Blackie” Cool and Helen Gay Cool. Mr. Cool was a licensed plumber and an employee of Snowshoe for many years. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He is survived by one brother, William M. Cool and wife, Donna, of Goose Creek, SC; and two sisters, Darlene C. Lindsay and husband, Gary, of Mill Creek; and Carolyn Cool of Huttonsville. Also surviving are one niece, Celeste L. Yardley and husband, Lance, of Elkins; and two nephews, G. Mark Lindsay and wife, Amie, of Fort Wayne, IN; and Michael Cool and wife, Nichole, of Goose Creek, SC; three great nephews and four great nieces. In addition to his parents, Mr. Cool was preceded in death by one niece, Marishah Sterling. Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 PM on Friday, June 4, 2010 at the Randolph Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 100 Meadow Lane, Valley Bend, WV. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 11 AM at Mountain State Memorial Gardens at Gilman.
