John Mark Mouser 1956-2002 Obituary
John Mark Mouser, 46, of Columbia, Mo., formerly of Philippi, died Sunday, June 30, 2002, in Boon Hospital Center, Columbia, Mo, following a brief illness.
He was born March 30, 1956, at Philippi, a son of the late William Harold and Bessie Marie Nestor Mouser.
Survivors include two sons, John Curtis Mouser and Paul David Mouser, both of Buckhannon; two sisters, Lola Spotloe and Erma Mouser, both of Elkins; two brothers, Jackie Lee Mouser and Steven Ray Mouser, both of Philippi; five nieces and nephews, Holley Mouser, Regina Edwards, Greg Mouser, Bailey Morris and Steven Harold Mouser; several grandnieces and nephews; and three special friends, George Shobe, Joyce Logan and Dorothy Brown, all of Columbia, Mo.
Mr. Mouser was a graduate of Philip Barbour High School. He was a former employee of the A&P supermarkets in Philippi and Parsons. He was a carpenter and residential painter and had been involved in the restoration of the Historic Philippi Covered Bridge.
Honoring the wishes of the deceased, his remains were cremated. Committal of the ashes will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday in the Marsh Section of the Cross Roads Cemetery at Tacy with the Rev. Jerry Boyce officiating.
