Joy Gale Ware, 76, a resident of Huttonsville, WV passed from this life, Thursday, September 27, 2012 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Joy was born on Saturday, February 13, 1936 at Huttonsville, a son of the late Delmar Gale Ware and Naomi Ruth Wilson Ware. On January 31, 1959 in Elkins, he was married to the former Wanda Virginia Arbogast, who survives. They had celebrated fifty-three years of marriage. Joy is survived by two brothers, Harold “Peanut” Ware and wife, Patricia, of Mill Creek and Newton Ware of Huttonsville, one sister, Mae Elizabeth Shifflett and husband, Ron, of Orville, OH, and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were two brothers, Robert Ware and Ray Ware. Joy attended the schools of Randolph County, and had worked for the Linger’s, Liggett Supply, various local service stations, and United Parcel Service, and he owned and operated Joy’s Repair. He had enjoyed hunting, mechanic work, making hay, and loved running his Ford tractor. Graveside services will be held at Brick Church Cemetery at Huttonsville on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at 2PM. Reverend Harold Swecker will officiate and interment will follow. The Randolph Funeral Home and Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements for Joy Gale Ware.
