Judy Rose Wilson Watson, 77, a resident of Elkins, passed from this life Monday, March 8, 2021, at home. She had been in her usual health and death was unexpected.
Judy was born Monday, June 7, 1943, in Elkins, a daughter of the late Ross Wilson and Maggie Virginia Swick Wilson. She was formerly married to Harley Watson Jr.
Left to cherish her memory are three children, Donna Lynn Thorne of Elkins, Tamela Sue Thompson and husband Thomas of Junior, and Bill Watson of Four States, three grandchildren, Adam Matthew Skidmore, Joshua David Simmons, and Paul William Simmons, three brothers, Jerry, Clyde, and Richard Wilson, and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death besides her parents was one infant sister and her beloved dogs, Bear and Button.
Judy was employed as a certified nursing assistant at Valentine Personal Care Home in Elkins. She loved playing Bingo, watching games shows on TV, and playing a variety of card games. Judy was Methodist by faith.
Judy’s request for cremation was honored.
