Karen Ann Robinson 1959-2021 Obituary
Karen Ann Robinson, age 62, of French Creek fought a hard battle and went to be with the Lord at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown on Thursday, November 4, 2021. She was born on February 12, 1959, in Upshur County a daughter of the late Willard Kemp and Helen Rosalie Wimer Alderman. She was united in marriage on June 5, 1982, to Elbert Sonny Robinson who survives. In addition to her husband she is survived by Kari Hull of Clarksburg and Kati Opferman of Charles Town, WV both of whom she loved as daughters; two grandchildren: Kenzie and Haleigh Gump; three brothers: Charles Alderman of French Creek, Larry and wife Trecia Alderman of Buckhannon and Roger and wife Penny Alderman of Virginia; two sisters: Charolet Young and companion James Barnhill of Rock Cave and Joyce Riffle of Pennsylvania; several nieces and nephews; a special nephew Jimbob Fisher; best friend Kathleen “Sis” McIe and her special pet dog JoJo
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers; Bobby, Leonard “Lennie” and James D. Alderman, Sr. and two sisters; Carol Young and Naomi Sutton.
Karen loved spending time with friends and family, she especially loved the holidays and cooking and baking. She enjoyed gardening and canning fruits and vegetables. She attended the Rock Cave Baptist Church.
Friends will be received at the Heavner and Cutright Funeral Chapel on Monday, November 8, 2021, from 5-7 PM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Pastor David Jessie officiating. Interment will follow in the Rock Cave Cemetery.
