Kathleen Kathy Moreno 1935-2021 Obituary
Kathleen “Kathy” Moreno, age 85 years, a resident of Junior, WV departed this life Thursday morning, January 14, 2021 at the Elkins Rehabilitation & Care Center at Elkins, WV. She had been in declining health.
She was born Friday, May 31, 1935 at Fairmont, WV a daughter of the late Martin and Anna Arbogast Moreno.
She had never married. Surviving are her good friend, Rochella “Kay” Biller of Montrose; four nephews; and one niece.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Preceding her in death are three half-brothers, Alton, Ronald, and Leslie Flaherty; and two half-sisters, Agnes Capanzano; and Wilma Kroll.
Kathy was a graduate of Belington High School with the Class of 1953, had worked for the G. C. Murphy Company at Elkins for over forty years and later worked part time for CVS at Elkins, WV. She was a Protestant by faith.
A Private Graveside Service will be held at the Belington Fraternal Cemetery at Belington, WV with Pastor Tammy Phillips officiating.
