Kenneth Gray “Kenny” Knick 1936-2022 Obituary
Kenneth Gray “Kenny” Knick, 85, a resident of Valley Bend, passed from this life Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Davis Medical Center.
Kenny was born Monday, September 21, 1936, in Lexington, VA, a son of the late Clarence Russell Knick and Della Virginia Graves Knick. On July 20, 1986, in Mill Creek, he was married to the former Arlene Mae Watson, who survives.
Also left to cherish Kenny’s memory are children, Terri Weiford and husband, Alan, of Elkins, Lynn Krouse and husband, Sherri, Stephanie Hurd and husband, Gary, all of Virginia, Kimberly Knick of Kentucky, Eric Knick and wife, Shelly, Angie Knick and fiancé, Brette Hearn, Melissa Cardwell and husband, Tommy, all of Virginia, Greg Scott and wife, Kim, of Beverly, and George Scott of Mill Creek, one sister, Diane Corley, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Preceding Kenny in death besides his parents were two grandchildren, David Knick and Baby Hunter, one sister, Geraldine Rowan, and the mother of his children, Carol Sue Thompson.
Kenny was a graduate of Elkins High School and had served with the United States Army. He was the owner and operator of Kenny’s Painting. He enjoyed deer hunting, riding around with Clarence Stull whom he considered like a son, watching Clint Eastwood westerns and taking his wife dancing at the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Kenny was considered quite the jokester. He loved to laugh and make others laugh.
Visitation will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home on Monday, February 14, 2022, from 11am until 1pm, the funeral hour. Rev. A.H. Belt will officiate, and interment will follow in Elkins Memorial Gardens.
