OBITUARY: LARRY D. BARNETT Larry Delaine Barnett, 57, of England Run Road, Rt. #2, Philippi, died Wednesday, December 2, at his home following an extended illness. He was born November 28, 1952, at Philippi, a son of the late Clyde Wesley and Mary Mageline (Mayle) Barnett. On July 10, 1981, he married the former Toni Rose Mayle, who survives at England Road, Philippi. Also surviving are two daughters, Nichole Mageline Barnett and Christina Louise Barnett and one son, Wesley Delaine Barnett, all at home; one brother, Donald Lee Barnett, Canton, Oh., and one sister, Jackie Sue Mayle, Philippi. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Mary Ann Mayle. Mr. Barnett was a 1971 graduate of Philip Barbour High School. He had most recently be employed at Walmart and had formerly operated Barnett’s Salvage. Mr. Barnett enjoyed working on automobiles, traveling and fishing. He was Protestant by faith. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 5, from the Stemple & Forman Funeral Home, 385 So. Main Street, Philippi. The Rev. Winfield Mayle and the Rev. Lewis Beck will officiate and interment will follow in the Olive Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M. on Thursday, from 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Friday and from 9:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M., the funeral hour, on Saturday.
