Larry Wayne Moore 1954-2013 Obituary
Larry Wayne Moore, 59, of Belington, died Wednesday, July 10, at his home, following an unexpected illness.
He was born January 13, 1954, at Hastings, Michigan, a son of the late Milford Washington and Iva Alena (Frantz) Moore.
On May 27, 1975, he married the former Rebecca Lorraine Leary, who survives at their home near Belington.
Also surviving are two sons, Jerry Wayne Moore and wife, Robin and Joe Lee Moore and wife, Christina, all of Belington; five sisters, Linda Ruth Null, Montrose, Martha Alice Hedrick, Clarksburg, Virginia Louise Hershman, Parsons, Carol JoAnne Moore and Lori Ann Barcus, both of Belington; one brother, Kevin Lynn Moore, Belington; three grandchildren, Vidalia Calhoun, Samuel Moore and Amy Moore.
He was also preceded in death by an infant son, Alvin Jethro Moore.
Mr. Moore was retired from the West Virginia Transportation Department, Division of Highways where he was a truck driver and equipment operator.
He attended the Mt. Zion Church of the Brethren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, July 15, from the Schoonover – Stemple Funeral Chapel, 609 Crim Avenue, Belington.
The Rev. Robert Grandusky and the Rev. Larry Poling will officiate and interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home 4:00 until 9:00 P.M. on Sunday and from 9:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M., the funeral hour on Monday.
