Lawrence Fallon 1965-2003 Obituary
Lawrence “Larry” Wesley Fallon, 38, of Columbus, Ohio, died Monday, Nov. 3, 2003, in Columbus, Ohio.
He was born June 18, 1965, in St. Petersburg, Fla., the son of Lawrence “Leo” and Joanne Peterson Fallon of South Amherst, Ohio.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one sister, Sheila Fallon of Phoenix, Ariz.; his paternal grandmother, Opal Virginia Shreve Fallon of Florida; his maternal grandfather and grandmother, Erlo “Pete” and Lucy Osburn Peterson of South Amherst, Ohio; and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Paul Wesley Fallon, in 1984.
Larry graduated with the class of 1983 from South Amherst High School. He had been a resident of Columbus, Ohio, for five years and was very active with the DeMolay in high school.
He served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1985 to 1992. He was employed by Invacare in Elyria from 1992 until 1998 and worked for Donato’s Pizza in Columbus for the last four years in customer service. While living in South Amherst, he was a member of the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Peterson Cemetery in Weston with the Rev. Gary Stackpole officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Fireland’s School Endowment Fund, 11970 Vermilion Road, Oberlin, Ohio 44074. Tomblyn Whitescarver Funeral Chapel of Buckhannon is in charge of arrangements for Lawrence “Larry” Wesley Fallon.
