Lillie Eskew 1912-2003 Obituary
Lillie Eskew, 91, of 34 Hampton Road, Buckhannon, died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2003, at St. Joseph’s Hospital NCF in Buckhannon.
She was born April 28, 1912, at French Creek, the daughter of the late Stanley Beecher Riggleman and Ibbie Waugh Riggleman.
On Dec. 25, 1957, she was married to Willie Ernest Eskew, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are one daughter, Rita Gallo of Stormville, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one grandson, David Riggleman; three brothers, Orton Riggleman, Orval Riggleman and William Riggleman; two sisters, Madge McCauley and Nora Wilt; and one son, Glen Riggleman.
She was a homemaker and was a member of Sand Run Baptist Church.
Friends will be received from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home where funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. Robert Poling will officiate and interment will follow in the Hampton Church Cemetery.
