LISA MICHELLE FORTNEY WILLIAMS, age 39 years, a resident of Elkins, WV departed this life Sunday, August 22, 2010 at her home. Death was unexpected.
She was born Friday, March 12, 1971 at Cleveland, OH a daughter of the late Ralph Williams and Carolyn Virginia Wegman Fortney Williams, who survives at Elkins. On March 14, 1987 at Beverly, WV she was married to Henry Wesley Williams, who survives. Also surviving are one son, Henry Wesley Williams, Jr., Elkins; two daughters, Julia Michelle Dumire and husband Ryan, TN; Jenna Nicole Williams, Elkins; one step son William Warner and wife Moriah, Elkins; two half brothers, Ralph Williams, PA; Russell Williams, MD; two sisters, Shelley Rena Hays and husband Rick, Shirley Jean Simmons and husband Scott, all of Elkins; four half sisters, Rosemary Ruiz, VA; Sharon Kowalkoski, Bayard; twins, Melinda Smith, Mt. Storm; and Belinda DeWitt, Bayard; her maternal grandmother, Odie Wegman, Elkins; several nieces and nephews; two great nephews and a special friend, Connie Hedrick and husband Stacy.
Preceding her in death are one brother, James Howard Fortney.
She attended the schools of Randolph County, was a former employee of the Kroger Company and a homemaker. She enjoyed the outdoors and loved camping.
The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Elkins on Friday, August 27, 2010 from 12 Noon to 2 PM, the funeral hour. The Rev. Michael House will officiate and interment will follow at the Mountain State Memorial Gardens at Gilman, WV.
