Loretta June Baker (Waugaman) 1963-2021 Obituary
Ms. Loretta June Waugaman Baker age 58 a resident of Clinton, South Carolina and formally of Barbour County, West Virginia departed this life Thursday, October 28, 2021 at her home in Clinton, South Carolina. She was born February 26, 1963 at Philippi, West Virginia a daughter of the late Charles Junior and Rachel Lyvon Smith.
She is survived by three sons; Christopher Baker of Richmond, VA, Adam Baker and wife Theresa of Mooresville, North Carolina, Jacob Baker and wife Taylor of Lewisburg, West Virginia, two sisters; Trudy Noechel and husband Paul of Lost Creek, West Virginia, Carla Riley and husband Mark of Lost Creek, West Virginia, two brothers; Ronald Lynn Waugaman and wife Sherry of Junior, West Virginia, and Bob Smith of Belington, West Virginia. Additional survivors include four grandchildren; Luke, Charlotte, Ellen, and Monica Baker all of Mooresville, North Carolina and her former husband; Michael Baker of Lewisburg, WV.
Loretta was a graduate of the Philip Barbour High School and was a Methodist by faith and was previously employed with home health as a social worker in Greenbrier County. She had a deep love for her family and treasured time spent with them especially her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Friends will be received at the Talbott Funeral Home 56 North Brandenburg Street in Belington on Tuesday November 2, 2021 from 7pm to 9 pm and again on Wednesday, November 3rd from 8am to 1pm the funeral hour when funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Jimmie E. Tallman officiating. Interment will follow in the Mount Vernon Cemetery near Philippi, West Virginia.
