Lottie Bell McCune, age 50, a resident of Huttonsville, WV, passed from this life Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at the home of her mother on Becky’s Creek. Lottie was born Saturday, October 21, 1961, at Elkins, the daughter of the late Grant McCune, Sr., and Prudy Bell Dawson McCune Moss, who survives. Lottie is survived by three children, Jessie Lee McCune, Elkins, Bobby Ryan Mayhew, and Michelle Mayhew and companion, Chris Tackett, all of Huttonsville; four grandchildren, Jordan McCune, Alyissa Tackett, Landon Scott, and Olivia Logar; six brothers, Junior McCune and wife Darlene, Kenny McCune and wife, Karen, Billy McCune, Tommy McCune, Jerry McCune and wife, Jeanie, and Glen McCune, and one half-brother Jimmy Lee Blankenship and wife, Anne, all of Huttonsville; three sisters, Linda Wamsley and husband John, and Dixie Pritt and husband Richard, all of Mill Creek, and Martha Tacy and husband Richard of Elkins; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. Lottie is also survived by a good friend Jim Croston. Lottie attended the schools of Randolph County and was an employee of Summit Housekeeping at Snowshoe prior to becoming disabled. She loved the outdoors and feeding the wildlife, was an avid gardener and enjoyed riding the four-wheeler. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, children and family, and talking with them on the telephone. She will be greatly missed. Lottie was a Baptist by faith. Visitation will be held for Lottie Saturday, May 26 , 2012, at the Randolph Funeral Home from until 11AM until 1PM, the funeral hour. Reverend Billy Young and Reverend Billy Dawson will officiate and interment will follow at the Brick Church Cemetery at Huttonsville.
