Lou Elizabeth Sage, 89, a former resident of Monterville and more recently a resident of Leesburg, VA, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 with her family by her side in Leesburg. Mrs. Sage was born July 15, 1922 in Monterville to the late Talbert and Ada Folks Hevener. Her husband of 50 years, Glenn Albert Sage preceded her in death during 1991. Mrs. Sage was a lifelong resident of Monterville before moving in 2008 into the homes of her two sons in Leesburg, VA, and Mechanicsville, MD to be near them and her grandchildren. Mrs. Sage is survived by her beloved sons, Earl Sage of Mechanicsville, MD, and Ronnie Sage of Leesburg, VA; four sisters, Mae Linsay of Cleveland, OH, Shirley Hite of Elyria, OH, Verlie Conrad of Powell, TN, and Eula Gibson of Mill Creek; five grandchildren, Michael, Kimberly, Darren Scott, Joni, and Scottie; three great grandchildren, Tyler, Garret, and Amber and one great great grandchild, Braylin, and by a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by five siblings. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 20, 2012 from 6 until 8:00 p.m. at the Randolph Funeral Home, 100 Meadow Lane, Valley Bend, WV. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 21, 2012, at 11:00 a.m., at the Mingo Presbyterian Church, Mingo, WV with the Reverend Greg Lanham officiating. Interment will follow at the Mingo Cemetery.
