Mable Mauzy Jones 1926-2022 Obituary
Mable Mauzy Jones, 95, formerly of Cass and Elkins, and for the past 28 years a resident of Seattle, Washington, died Friday, Jan. 21, 2022.
She had been in declining health.
Mrs. Jones was born Dec. 5, 1926, in Cass, West Virginia, the only daughter of the late Jacob Kenny and Buanna Nelson Mauzy.
On July 25, 1947, she married Thomas Ervine Jones, who preceded her in death on Sept. 24, 2000.
Surviving are two sons, Thomas K. Jones, and his wife, Janet, and Robert D. Jones; one daughter, Ann I. Jones; and three grandchildren.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family and was preceded in death by her brothers, Jacob K. Mauzy Jr. and Robert E. Mauzy.
