Margaret Louise Cable Hamrick, 79, a resident of Mingo, passed from this life Thursday, January 14, 2021, at Holbrook on the Hill in Buckhannon.
Margaret was born Saturday, November 2, 1941, in Quinnimont in Fayette County, a daughter of the late Clarence and Irene Oliver Cable.
Margaret is survived by her husband, Sherman Edward Hamrick, one daughter, Cynthia Hamrick of McKeys Rocks, PA, one son, Michael Hamrick of Kirkland, IL, six grandchildren, Amanda, Tyler, Breanna Hamrick, all of Kirkland, IL, Cody Wood of Williamsport, PA, Ethan and Evan Hamrick of Marlinton, one sister, Delberta Souders of Cleveland, OH, and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding Margaret in death besides her parents is one daughter, Gathel Wood, one son, Sherman K. Hamrick, five brothers, David, Carl, Clarence, James, and Edward, and four sisters, Judy, Sharon, Imogene, and Shirley.
Margaret attended the schools of Webster County and was a homemaker. She was a kind and giving person. She loved her family and always curious about her grandchildren’s welfare.
Visitation will be held at Randolph Funeral Home Friday, January 22, 2021 from Noon until 1pm, the funeral hour. Interment will follow in Mingo Cemetery.
