Mark Anthony “PJ” Putlovis, 41, of Davis, passed away Saturday, Dec. 21, 2002, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown.
He was born March 11, 1961, in Parsons, a son of the late Adam Stanley and Roberta Jane Adams Putlovis.
In 1994, he married Melanie Dawn Knotts.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Zachery Ryan Putlovis; one daughter, Megan Nicole Putlovis; four brothers, Ronnie Putlovis, Arab, Ala., Steve Thomas Putlovis, Coketon, Eddie Putlovis, Davis, and Jimmy Wilfong, Coketon; four sisters, Linda Lou Stanley, Cleveland, Ohio, Mary Elizabeth Ball, Horse Shoe Run, Helen Dunphy, Coketon, and Vicky Lynn Sharp, Cabins; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one son, Mark Adam Putlovis.
He had worked as a building maintenance mechanic at Blackwater Falls State Park for 22 years. He was a member of FOE No. 936 and the Davis and Thomas VFD.
Friends will be received at Hinkle Funeral Home today from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Hinkle Funeral Chapel Tuesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Jeff Winter officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Hinkle Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. From 23 Dec 2002.
