Mary E. Daniels, age 84, of Buckhannon, WV, died Thursday, December 3, 2020 at her home.
She was born December 25, 1935 in Washington DC, a daughter of the late John D. and Lillian Collins Shifflet.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenny Daniels; one daughter, Carla Cutright.
She is survived by four daughters, Ruth Ann McCartney of Buckhannon, Mary Ann McMillion and husband Walt of Kearneysville, WV and their family of six grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; Sharron Marie Klagstad of MT and Mary Kay Freeman of Manistique, MI; two sons, Joseph William Anderson of Jasper, FL and his family of four grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and six great-great-great-grandchildren and Ronald James Klagstad of Akron, OH; two granddaughters, Patricia A. Trawick of Buckhannon and Mari Moore and husband Mike of Lewis County, WV; one grandson, Junior Trawick and wife, Venetta L. Perry of Buckhannon; one great-granddaughter, Deidria Zemanek and husband Zack of Buckhannon; one great-grandson, Brandon L. Trawick of Buckhannon; five great-great-granddaughters, Amelia Lee of Buckhannon, Shirley, Elizabeth, Reba and Reva Moore all of Lewis County, WV; five great-great-grandsons, Michael, Christopher, Mark, Mick and Johnny Moore all of Lewis County; her best friend, Loretta and an additional eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Daniels was a waitress.
She was a member of the Rock Cave Baptist Church in Rock Cave, WV and she loved to sew and make quilts.
Friends will be received Sunday, December 6, 2020 from 11 AM until 1 PM at the Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held 1 PM Sunday at the funeral home with Pastor David Jesse officiating.
Burial will follow in the Beechtown Cemetery in Frenchton, WV.
Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
