Mary Jane Harsh, 78, of Parsons, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2002, in Davis Memorial Hospital in Elkins.
She was born Feb. 22, 1924, in Thomas, a daughter of the late Henry Harry and Nellie Mae Swartz Huffman.
Survivors include one son, Roy Ellis Harsh Jr. of Jacksonville, N.C.; one brother, Norman K. Huffman of Lansdowne, Va.; two sisters, Ellen Sherman of Parsons, and Lois Shaffer of Cumberland, Md; two grandsons, Timothy Harsh and Roy E. Harsh III; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers.
Ms. Harsh was a housewife and a member of First Presbyterian Church of Thomas.
Friends will be received at Hinkle Funeral Home in Davis today from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Funeral services will be held Sunday at Hinkle Funeral Chapel at 2 p.m. The Rev. James Ellis will officiate and interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
