MARY LEE FRAME, age 82 years, a resident of Elkins, WV passed away peacefully Friday, afternoon, June 18, 2010 at Iveagh Trust.
She was born Wednesday, July 13, 1927 at Beckley, WV a daughter of the late James M. Frame and Katherine Hart Frame. She had never married. Surviving are one niece, Katherine L. “Kathy” Gordon, San Diego, CA; one great niece and one great nephew.
Preceding her in death is one sister Joan Frame Gordon.
Ms. Frame grew up in Dailey, graduating from Davis & Elkins College. She later worked for the U. S. Government in Washington, D. C. and returned to Elkins to retire.
Her quiet, loving personality, gentle sense of humor, and keen mind will be missed by her family and those who knew her well. She remained especially appreciative of the kindness of her neighbors, and the support she received from her church, the Otterbein United Methodist Church.
Miss Frame’s request for cremation was honored. Interment of the cremains will be at a later date at the Rowan Memorial Cemetery at Mabie, WV.
