Mary Lou Boserman Proudfoot, 84, of Adolph Road in Mill Creek, WV entered into eternal rest early Wednesday evening November 3, 2010 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born Friday October 22, 1926 in Norton, WV, a daughter of the late Ralph and Jessie Nay Boserman. She attended the schools of Randolph County, WV. She had lived in Mill Creek for the past 64 years. She was a member of the Mill Creek United Methodist Church in Mill Creek, WV. Mary enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and her special dog: Liz. In 1990 her husband James Edward Proudfoot preceded her in death. In addition to her parents and husband ,she was preceded in death by one sister: Margie Boserman and one brother: Paul Boserman. Left to cherish her memories are one daughter: Peggy Jo Proudfoot McGuire and husband Art of Salisbury, MD; three sons: John Edward Proudfoot and wife Lucille, Franklin Paul Proudfoot and James Thomas Proudfoot and wife: Candy all of Mill Creek, WV; grandchildren: Mary Crystal of Morgantown, WV, Meghan Leigh of Greensburg, PA, Stevy Roy of Ravenna, OH, Emma Renee, Adam Thomas and Tyler David all of Mill Creek, WV. Private family services will be held. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 am Saturday November 6, 2010 at the Mill Creek Cemetery in Mill Creek, WV with Sister Mary Ella Morrison officiating.
