Mary Louise “Mary Lou” Westall Heinzman 1928-2022 Obituary
Mary Louise “Mary Lou” Westall Heinzman, 94, a resident of Cassity, passed from this life Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at the WV Hospice Center in Elkins.
Mary Lou was born February 1, 1928, in Junction City, OH, a daughter of the late Willard Westall and Ocie Souslin Westall. On June 7, 1946, she married Warren Heinzman who preceded her in death in 2012.
Left to cherish her memory are three children, Sharon Jones and husband Richard of Cassity, James Heinzman and wife Linda of Port St. Lucie, FL, Cynthia Campbell and husband Chuck of Arboles, CO, seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, ten great-great-grandchildren, one sister Marjorie Russell and husband Pete of Columbus, OH, and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death besides her parents and husband was one son, Doyle Heinzman, and three siblings, Evelyn Grigsby, Ann Clark, and Floyd Westall.
Mary Lou was a 1946 graduate of Junction City-Jackson High School in Ohio. She had been employed at McCauley Manufacturing in Breman, OH. In 1966, Mary Lou and Heinie moved to New Mexico. She enjoyed crocheting and was a loyal fan of the tv show Jeopardy.
Visitation will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home Monday, February 21, 2022, from Noon until 2 PM, the funeral hour. Pastor Stella Faye Moyer will officiate. Mary Lou’s request for cremation will then be honored. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made in Mary Lou’s name to the Cassity United Methodist Church 1261 Adolph Cassity Road Mabie WV 26278.
