McCLELLAN C. RHODES 1910-2001 Obituary
McCLELLAN C. RHODES, 91, a lifetime resident of Randolph County and a resident of Glady, died on Wednesday, May 23, at Colonial Place in Elkins.
He was born January 30, 1910, in Pendleton County, a son of the late Charles Oley Rhodes and Lena Waybright Rhodes.
Mr. Rhodes was a Coal Miner and a member of the Glady Brethren Church.
On December 25, 1934, at Meyersdale, PA, he was married to the former Della Luemma Baker, who preceded him death, August 23, 1997.
Surviving are three sons, Roy Rhodes, Glady, Robert Rhodes, Mouth of Seneca and Roger Allen Rhodes, Glady; one daughter, Della Rhodes Cork, Stuarts Draft, VA; 11 brothers, James, Arthur, Everett, Charles, Raymond, Earl, Forrest, Willie, Harry, Ralph and Ronald; eight sisters, Loemma, Fay, Marie, Margie, Wretha, Alice, Jean and Roseanna; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
One brother, Lloyd Rhodes, and one sister, Donna Carr, preceded him in death.
Final rites were conducted at the Lohr-Barb-Vance Funeral Home Chapel at 1 p.m. Saturday with the Reverend Walter H. Blough officiating and interment followed at the Rhodes Family Cemetery in Glady
