Mildred Faye Blagg 1941-2002 Obituary
Mildred Faye Blagg, 61, who made her home with her daughter, Judy Posey of Buckhannon, died Monday, Dec. 9, 2002, at her home.
She was born Jan. 24, 1941, at Ten Mile, a daughter of the late Henry and Francis Koon Reed.
Surviving are two daughters, Gail and Tom Stump of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Judy and Mike Posey of Buckhannon; three sons, Ed and Terry Blagg of Buckhannon, Greg and Jo Blagg of Applecreek, Ohio, and James and Susan Blagg of Killbuck, Ohio; 15 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, seven brothers, Harold Reed, Charles Reed, Bob Reed, Bill Reed, Jerry Reed, Donald Reed and Tom Reed, all of Buckhannon; one sister, Jean Ward of Tarrs, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Carl Reed, Larry Reed and Junior Reed.
She was a food service manager and cook. She was a Methodist by faith.
Friends will be received at Tomblyn-whitescarver Funeral Chapel Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Mrs. Blagg will lie in state from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Christian Fellowship Church Thursday with services to start at 2 p.m. The Rev. Edward McDaniels will officiate and interment will follow in Big Bend Cemetery. Tomblyn Whitescarver Funeral Chapel of Buckhannon is in charge of the arrangements for Mildred Faye Blagg.
