Mildred Juanita “Mickey” Roberts Arbogast Bennett, 89, a resident of Beverly, passed from this life Monday, September 1, 2014 at Hospice Regional Inpatient Center in Elkins. Mickey was born Saturday, May 9, 1925 in Kingsville, a daughter of the late Dorsey James Roberts and Addie Blance Bunner Roberts. She has been married twice. First to Jewell Oakland Arbogast and then to Earl Bennett. Both preceded her in death. Left to cherish Mickey’s memory are two daughters, Gloria Warner and husband Steven of Dailey and Donna Allan and husband Randy of Beverly, one sister Bonnie Elaine Knicely and husband Larry of Ocala, FL, six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Preceding Mickey in death besides her parents and husbands was one son, James “Jim” Arbogast, one granddaughter, Deborah Valentine, four brothers, Virgil, Dorsey, Glen and Don Roberts and two sisters, June Arbogast and Enid Goodwin. Mickey attended the schools of Randolph County. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, canning and gardening. And, had a passion for quilting. She will be missed by all who knew her. Especially her constant companion, her toy poodle, Meg. A visitation will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home Wednesday, September 3, 2014 from Noon-2P, the funeral hour. Pastor A.H. Belt will officiate and interment will follow in Mountain State Memorial Gardens in Gilman.
