Mindy Mae Haney, 30, a resident of Elkins, passed from this life Saturday, October 11, 2014 in the Emergency Department of Davis Medical Center in Elkins. Mindy was born Wednesday, February 1, 1984 in Elkins, a daughter of the late Darrell Dwayne Haney and Deborah Louise McCauley Haney, with whom Mindy made her home. She had never been married. Left to cherish Mindy’s memory along with her mother is her step father, Robert “Rick” Stinnett, her two brothers, Jeremiah Haney and Emmanuel Haney, both of Elkins, her grandfather, Franklin McCauley of Elkins, her uncles, Donald McCauley and wife, Angie of Huttonsville, Jeffrey McCauley and wife, Sherri of Elkins, Emmett McCauley and wife, Carmen of Virginia, Christopher McCauley and wife, Deanna of Beverly, Johnny Haney and wife, Joyce, Mitchell Haney and wife, Patty, and Greg Haney, all of Elkins, and Donald Haney and wife, Cindy of Pennsylvania, her aunts, Diane Pudder and husband, Junior of Mill Creek, Clorissa McCauley and husband, James of Pennsylvania, Teresa McCauley and husband, Raymond of North Carolina, Twila Conrad of Mill Creek, and Debbie Chandler of Elkins, many special cousins, and many friends. Mindy was preceded in death by three grandparents, Linda Lou McCauley, Lorene Haney, and Carl Haney, and one uncle, David McCauley. Mindy attended the schools of Randolph County and was a graduate of Madison County High School with the class of 2004. She was a homemaker and a Methodist by faith. She enjoyed riding four wheelers, working with the elderly at Autumn Care in Virginia, and cooking and cleaning for others. She never met a stranger, and had a big heart to help anyone she could. She loved animals, especially her dog, Harley. Visitation will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home on Friday, October 17, 2014 from 12PM until 1PM, the funeral hour and cremation will follow.
