OBITUARY: NORMA JEAN TENNEY Norma Jean Tenney, 52, of Belington, died Friday evening, July 15, in the Barbour County Good Samaritan Center, where she had recently been a patient. She had been in ill health but her death was unexpected. Miss Tenney was born August 10, 1958, at Philippi, a daughter of Ernest Franklin and Bearl Jean (Delauder) Tenney who survive at Belington. Also surviving are a brother, Roger Tenney, at home; a sister, Karen Shaver, her husband, Letcher Shaver and her former husband, James McCauley; niece, Peggy Casey and husband, Tyson; nephew, James Neil McCauley; aunts, Carrie Delauder and Carol Tenney; uncles, Okey James Delauder, Otis Gerald Delauder, Don Tenney and Sterling Tenney; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by two nephews, Ernest Franklin McCauley and James Cecil McCauley; uncles, William Tenney, Charles Tenney, Thomas Tenney, Carl Gene Tenney, Charles Delauder, Bernard Delauder and Junior Delauder; and aunts, Mary Ellen Tenney, Belva Audra Delauder, Dorothy Delauder and Marilyn Tenney; by her paternal grandparents, Thomas and Florence Tenney and her maternal grandparents, William “Wimp” Delauder, Lanie Delauder Lantz and Albert Lantz.
