Otto Homer Howell, Sr 1934-2010 Obituary
Mr. Otto Homer Howell, Sr., age 76 years, a resident of Beverly, passed away Monday morning, May 3, 2010 at his home.
He was born March 7, 1934 at Beverly, a son of the late William and Rosie Lea Watson Howell.
On October 18, 1956 at Beverly, he was married to Mary Joyce Eye Howell who
survives near Beverly.
Also surviving are two sons,and three daughters, six brothers, four sisters, , eight grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren also survive.
Also preceding him in death besides his parents were one son, Jeffrey Alan Howell, a granddaughter, Lisa Marie Cutright and two brothers, Okey and Burlin Howell.
Mr. Howell attended the schools of Randolph County and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean Conflict.
He was a retired Coal Miner and Laborer and was an Ordained Minister preaching in several churches in the surrounding counties and conducted the weddings of several of his grandchildren, his sister-in-law, youngest son and numerous friends.
