Paul G. Cutright Obituary 1931-2013
Paul G. Cutright, 81, of 1015 High St., passed away Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, in Bradford Ecumenical Home.
Born March 5, 1931, at Elkins, he was a son of the late Jared and Maude Bowyer Cutright.
On Aug. 26, 1952, in Bradford, Pa., he married Nancy Haven, who survives.
He attended schools in Elkins, enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1948 and served during the Korean Conflict. He was honorably discharged in 1952.
He worked for Owens-illinois for 34 years, retiring in 1986 with the position of corrugater foreman. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife of 60 years, he is survived by a daughter, Janet M. (James) Kirk of Bradford, Pa.; a son, Robert A. (Debbie) Cutright of Troy, Ohio; five grandchildren, Michael A. Cutright, Scott P. Shaffer, Michelle L. Baxter, Jillian L. Hansen and Trevor Fiebelkorn; six great-grandchildren, Jacob Baxter, Tristin Baxter, Caleb Hansen, Parker Hansen, Nichelle Gittisruboongal and Jonas Burger; two brothers, Luther Cutright and W.M. “Buck” Cutright, both of Elkins; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, John Paul Cutright, in infancy, and three sisters.
