Paul L Mclean, 74, of Midway Road, Belington, departed this life on Monday morning, March 29, 2010, at his home. His death was unexpected. He was born Sept. 21, 1935, at Belington, a son of the late Andrew H. McLean and Cleta Jones McLean. On June 22, 1973, he was united in marriage to the former Emma Jean Lantz, who preceded him in death on June 27, 1999. He was a loving and caring father and leaves one son, Steven L. McLean of Midway Road, Belington. Also surviving are two sisters, Anna Jean Burr of Bridgeton, N.J., and Mrs. Donald (Grace) Stemple of the Tacy community; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. McLean also preceded in death by one brother, Andrew McLean Jr. Mr. McLean was a construction worker for Hathaway Construction and Alvin Bartlett Construction Co. until his retirement. Mr. McLean loved gardening, landscaping, mechanical work and artistry. He was known for being very motivated in his work. Mr. McLean’s wish to be cremated has been honored. Schoonover-stemple Funeral Chapel is entrusted with the arrangements.
