Paulette Sue Howard Scott 1948-2022 Obituary
Paulette Sue Howard Scott, 73, a resident of Huttonsville, passed from this this life Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Davis Medical Center in Elkins.
Sue was born Tuesday, October 26, 1948, in Mill Creek, a daughter of the late Vance Monroe Howard and Virginia Currence Howard. On October 26, 1967, in Mill Creek, she married Milton Holt Scott Sr. who survives.
Also left to cherish her memory are five children, Tad Scott and wife Pam of Mill Creek, David Scott and wife Becky of Mill Creek, Ginny Wratchford and husband Jake of Huttonsville, Bud Scott and wife Cassie of Beverly, and Chris Scott of Huttonsville, twenty-six grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, and five siblings, Janet Phillips and husband Greg of Elkins, Rick Howard and wife Pam of FL, Doug Howard of Mill Creek, Lisa Hinchman and husband Ben of Beverly, and Nelson Howard and wife Daisy of Beverly.
Preceding her in death besides her parents were three infant siblings, Earnest, James Allen, Mary Jane, and three adult siblings, Tom, Boyd, and Tammy Howard.
Sue was a graduate of Tygarts Valley High School. She had always been employed in foodservice and worked as a cook at Snowshoe. She was an excellent cook, trying new recipes, canning, and enjoyed painting. Sue adored her husband and family.
Visitation will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home Friday, February 4, 2022, from 11 am until 12 pm the funeral hour. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery at Hemlock.
