Equations for actual lift of a wing and rotational moment. Pitching moment of a semi-symmetrical wing is negative and constant over the usable angle of attack range. Aircraft moments are defined and discussed. Drag contributes to the moment if it is above or below the CG. The wing lift horiz. stab produce moments multiplied by the moment arm (CG-aC of each) All 3 sources must balance for the aircraft to be stable in pitch. A specific elevator trim balances aircraft pitching moment at one airspeed. A more rearward CG causes the model to be sensitive to trim.
