Randall Grant Riffle, age 53, a resident of Beverly, passed from this life Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at his residence. He had been in failing health. Randall was born Sunday, May 31, 1959, at Elkins, a son of Donald E. Riffle and the late Iris Joan Mace Riffle. Randall attended the schools of Randolph County, had worked at Elkins Industries, in the coal mines, and at Blue Ridge Truss and Supplies until becoming disabled. He enjoyed fishing, but was most comfortable in his own home. Left to cherish Randall’s memory are three sons, Chris George of Coalton, Travis Riffle of Mill Creek, and Joseph Somms of Oklahoma, one daughter, Mary Riffle of Rome, NY, three brothers, John Riffle of New Jersey, David Riffle of Jimtown, Donald Riffle of Coalton, one sister, Roxanna Bartelli and husband, Jeff, of Norton, and several nieces and nephews. Preceding Randall in death besides his mother were two children, Justin Riffle and Jessica Riffle, and one brother, Terry Riffle. Randall’s request for cremation was honored. Graveside memorial services will be held for Randall Saturday, June 23, 2012, at 11:00 a.m., at Mountain State Memorial Gardens, Gilman, West Virginia, with Reverend Kristan Tenney officiating.
