Raymond Parker Ross, 61, a former resident of Elkins and for the past year, a resident of Heartland of Clarksburg at Nutter Fort passed from this life Tuesday morning, January 3, 2012 at the nursing home. He was born Monday, January 30, 1950 at Elkins, a son of the late Clinton Wilson Ross and Bessie Pearl Murphy Ross, who survives at Michigan. Raymond attended the schools of Randolph County, had served with the United States Army, and was a truck driver for Hogan’s Transport and Poe Run Logging. He is survived by four daughters, Nicole Ross, Danielle Ross, both of Elkins, Barbara Biller of Michigan, and Jennifer Ross of Virginia, one son, Raymond Ross of Virginia, four sisters, Amy Watson, Patricia Hedrick, Sheila Howell, and Amanda Szypula, five brothers, Samuel, Terry, Robert, Roy, and Clinton, and five grandchildren. A Family Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2012, in the funeral home chapel.
