Richard Dale “Rich” Nelson, 52, of Chloe, died Friday, May 27, 2011, at Hospice Inpatient Center, Elkins, after a six-month battle with cancer.
He was born in Braxton County, the son of the late Bill and Mandy Nelson of Stinson.
Surviving are his wife, Hope; one daughter, Mandy; one brother, “Duck” of Stinson; and three sisters, Betty of Chloe, Suzi of Ravenswood and Hope of Reedy.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Harlan, Harley and Allen “Hoot.”
At his request, the body was cremated. Graveside service will be announced later for “Rich” and “Hoot.”
