Robert Basil Teter, 66, of Route 3, Box 316, Buckhannon, died at 11:15 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2002, in St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon.
Mr. Teter was born Feb. 16, 1936, in Upshur County, a son of William Howard Teter, who survives in Buckhannon, and the late Tina Louise Smith Teter.
Also surviving are three brothers, William C. Teter, Thomas R. Teter and Jerry L. Teter, all of Buckhannon; one sister, Linda Canfield, Buckhannon; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Teter served in the National Guard for six years. He attended Reger Chapel United Methodist Church.
Friends will be received at Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home today from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be in the funeral home chapel Wednesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. William C. Eskew Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Buckhannon Memorial Park in Buckhannon.
