Robert Elliot “Bob” Simmons 1948-2022 Obituary
Robert Elliot “Bob” Simmons, 73, a resident of Elkins, passed from this life on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at WV Caring Hospice Inpatient Center.
Bob was born Saturday, September 25, 1948, in Randolph County, a son of the late Robert Junior Simmons and Dorothy Riffle Simmons.
Left to cherish Bob’s memory are three children, Mark Simmons and wife, Barbara, of Rock Cave, Danny Simmons of Elkins, and Roberta McSpadden and husband, Michael, of Montrose, and four grandchildren, Damen, Tyler, Emily, and Hunter.
Bob attended the schools of Randolph County and had operated heavy equipment for many various local businesses including Grimes Logging and Polino Contracting. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening.
Bob’s request for cremation will be honored.
