Robert Gene “Bob” Cutright Sr 1935-2018 Obituary
Robert Gene “Bob” Cutright, Sr., 83, of Winchester, Virginia passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018, surrounded by his loving family at Winchester Medical Center.
Mr. Cutright was born in 1935 in Buckhannon, West Virginia, the son of the late Edgar and Vivian Cutright. He graduated from Philippi High School and was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Korean conflict, achieving the rank of SP3. Mr. Cutright retired from the Corp of Engineers having worked at Mt. Weather. He was a member of Yesterday’s Cruisers Car Club, the VFW in Winchester, and enjoyed collecting electric trains, and classic/antique automobiles.
His wife, Margie Lee Cutright, whom he married September 10, 1960 in Glen Burnie, Maryland preceded him in death on October 30, 2018.
Surviving is a daughter, Laura L. Cutright of Stephens City, Virginia and a son, Robert G. Cutright, Jr. and wife, Lori of Martinsburg, West Virginia; and grandson, Mitchell Swartz, Jr. of Stephens City, Virginia.
A celebration of life service for Bob and Margie will be at 11 am on Saturday, December 1st, at Open Door Baptist Church with Pastor David Hartley officiating. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bob’s memory to Open Door Baptist Church, 333 Jeremiah Lane, Clear Brook, Virginia 22624.
